I have not sign up for anything yet. I probably wont go to Pocono again, im trying to spend my money going to new tracks. NJMP is the same distance as Pocono anyway. Once I get my taxes done I will have a better idea of what I can afford and go from there.

I would like to get out with PDA and get myself climbing up the HPDE ladder. It looks like once you get to level three the more opportunities you get

some events are only open to level 3 and 4. The more experienced groups run faster and smoother so more track time.

It just what Im getting from the website. The day Marc is running I wouldn't be able to

Marc with PDA when they run all HPDE groups does registration fill up fast, is it really crowded?
Reg does not fill up too fast with PDA. Partly because of the economy but I think its also because there events are a little on the expensive side. I've been looking on http://www.motorsportreg.com/ lately and it seems PCA and BMW CCA have some cheaper events... like Pocono on a friday for $150 or a weekend of racing (Fri, Sat & Sunday) for $350. PDA is usually $270 for a day in HPDE3-4 and $300 for HPDE 1 or 2. Don't get me wrong, I like PDA and the guys that run with them, its just that in this economy every dollar counts.Once you get out of HPDE1 & HPDE2 the doors do kind of open up as to where you can run.

Jeff, open tracks are for HPDE3 or HPDE4, but since you have prior track experience I could pull some strings to get you in if you wanted to attend. Anyone who's never been on track would need to do at least one HPDE event, otherwise at one of these open track events you're a liability to yourself and everyone else out on track with you.

Could you pull some strigns and get me in tech for autox? lol. BTW, I signed up for the annual inspection, so I dont have to worry about making tech in the mornings! Is Adam pretty strict with the annual stuuf, or is it the same as the normal inspection?

I dont need any strings pulled I was just using that day as an example. I got no problems climbing the ol fashion way.

Chu, if you want to join the tech team just ask Adam. I know on occasion he is looking for people to fill-in on big days. I think he is pretty through with the annual inspections...

Jeff, no biggie, it just sounded like you wanted to come but couldn't for the obvious reason.

I don't think Chu means joining the tech team, he signed up for a dedicated waivers team like me...

I may look to one of you guys for getting my car threw tech depending on the shift I get stuck working in the mornings... just have to see how that goes during the season.
