Have you started looking for a tuner yet? Those parts aren't going to do anything without a proper tune! Sounds like you're having tons of fun installing though!

a different filter will change the way the MAF reads the air, but it shouldn't effect drivability much . to realize any performance gains you'll need a retune, like chu said.
