ryan, I forgot to mention to you that the event at the end of the month is only for 'advanced' drivers. there will be no instruction.
Another guy tried to get in and was told its not for him. Just an FYI incase you were planning on scrambling to get the car ready in time. Sorry bud... maybe next time.

No, its not. The color on the RPF1 is SBC... If you've ever seen some of the Advans, or even the Rotas, they have black chrome. Really nice color.

I don't care for the SBC myself. Different strokes for different folks I suppose.

Yes, I know your talking about something different Chu.

the SBC color is not my cup of tea either... what Chuster is talking about might work though.

Was just an idea! I find the MR BBS color to be dull and boring, and the silver color just does not look good on white. I know you're not into bright colored wheels. Plus, you already have black, so that rules that out.

i like the black metallic chrome color. i think it is similar to the black chrome. josh was explaining how it is done. i think the main color is like a silver/chrome and the clear coat is black transluscent.

damn that sucks! I wasnt scrambling, bc as of now i need to get my tire fixed, but yea i was planning on signing up. That blows. oh well next time for sure. ill keep looking and keep me posted, because I want to get enough experience over the next 1-2 years that hopefully I will be able to attend those type of events as well.

Thanks for the heads up.

and I want your CCWs, and id be willing to fight chu for them....if you sell them that is...haha.

Good thing is white goes with everything, so you cant make it look bad, just need to find something that you will like.

Ryan, there will def. be more events this year. That $100.00 EMRA one Pete T. posted about sounds like a great one to try out... and the price is right!

^^hahah.

Yea pete was telling me about it and gave me some info. I just gotta check when it is, where, when to sign up etc. But for 100 bucks, thats something my dad and I could both rock out on. Hes been itching to get on the track too. Just need to figure out there rules etc so if I need to get padding, do brake fluid, peel tint etc I know ahead of time.

Again, good looking out, I will get on the track at some point. Thinking about driving to B-Town (baltimore to look at a bike), this is my way of avoiding buying a motorcycle so i dont die. Maybe Ill just head back up to philly while im already on 95, so wats good in the ole neighborhood.

any time ninja man!

^poster above, sorry not sure of your name since you werent on here before i moved. for some racing clubs (marc knows better than me, hes the one who told me), require you to either have super light tint (like mine, 30%) or none so the drivers behind you can see you give the OK to pass point. If you have something stupid dark like 15 you will be in trouble depending on the club.

side windows dont matter, only rear window. but rolling with side windows and fishbowl rear would be ghetto as hell. but may do it if i have to in order to race. what percentage you at (not that they care, its all their opinion)
