Philadelphia's Classiest Drunkards
that's the complete opposite of the BMW guys I've seen at the track (I guess that's why they're at the track and not hard parking
). I've said it before, but I'm very impressed with how those cars get around a road course. we have this one guy in our group who's only done 3 track days so far and already he's in the advanced group running wheel to wheel with instructors.

You should have been at Monticello when a kid in his wrx developed rod knock and kept the car running for a few minutes... We had to tell him to shut it off.
Over my head.
me too. come to think of it, I don't think I've ever witnessed an evo brake at the track (not counting the drag strip), but I can recall 3 subarus (Monticello, one at an AX and another @ Pocono) giving up the ghost.
I think the subaru def has more character. I need to try some other discussion boards that are more informative. Ill keep posting on e90 to get my rating/post count up. There are some deals to be had
part of the motivation for me having a subaru DD would be for the exhaust note. i don't know why i like it so much. when i see one on the road i like to open the window and listen to it. if i were to keep it stock, i'd just keep the corolla.

Wonder if the BMW Jersey Shore crew could ever be talked into doing the track days. That'd probably cause a lot of wrecks though and then the blaming would get out of hand.
This is f'n awesome, the Classic Car Club:

He must a natural because that last day, when he was running in the advanced group, there were a lot of instructors talking about him. I overheard one of them say that they tried to keep up with him in one section but couldn't hang.

This winter he tore apart the car and did a full cage w/race seat and all the safety stuff. Makes sense since he really is driving his car at the limit. I can only imagine how fast he's going to be this year now that he's not worried about his safety.
I know of one other person who advanced that quickly and believe it or not he was in the same type of car (e36 M3 4 door). He is an instroctor now, lol. Thats why I'm really excited to see how my boy Dan does this year in his E36 M3. he is a fast learner too and was very quick in his under powered s2k.
