^poster above, sorry not sure of your name since you werent on here before i moved. for some racing clubs (marc knows better than me, hes the one who told me), require you to either have super light tint (like mine, 30%) or none so the drivers behind you can see you give the OK to pass point. If you have something stupid dark like 15 you will be in trouble depending on the club.
side windows dont matter, only rear window. but rolling with side windows and fishbowl rear would be ghetto as hell. but may do it if i have to in order to race. what percentage you at (not that they care, its all their opinion)

yup, thats exactly what i have and was going to do the same thing. I think 30% will be fine, anything darker could cause problems. glad i didnt get 15 like i originally planned.
Pete T., I hate you right now. you just ruined my day. and my day already sucks. any reasons?

The reason for EMRA canceling the NJMP event is unknown. The Oct. event at Pocono North is still on...so you all have time to replan your track events. Pete

will do. pete ill be in touch about pocono and the pads. good things good things. once i get the tire fixed and it stops raining, ill have a better opinion. thanks for the update

In case there might be some interest...I have a set of Team Dynamics 17X9 et 27 in Anthracite that are in mint condition. I have the Hankook C51 R-comps that I have ran for this season so far on them now, but they can be removed. Pete

Don't worry Ryan there will be plenty of events in the coming months. in the mean time you can curb your appetite for speed by doing some autox's with us if you're in the area.

I believe it was the Pocono event that was $100 for first timers, not the NJMP event Ryan. Your still good.

Actually the "first timer" coupon from EMRA is good for ANY of their events...

I just added up my receipts from last weekend and my total cost to track the car for 3 days including gas, entry fee, tolls & food was only $590!
Might sound like alot but when you figure I got 4 - 25 minute sessions a day x 3 days = 300 minutes of seat time / $590 = <$2/minute. Compared to AX where you get 5 runs for $40 = $8/minute... I won't even show you how bad the cost per minute is for drag racing

Now I'm confused... Is the event in Sept $100 for first timers (total cost) with EMRA or you get a $100 off coupon for first timers? Either way its a good deal, I just want to set the record straight.Originally Posted by Peter Tiebout

hey pete T wana trade for some rpf1s with 265 z1s? haha just kidding.
yea i might be in the area soon, may head up to baltimore, so may try to plan the trip around an autoX. its been a lil while, but could use some seat time and hanging out with everyone. whens the next event and what venue?

its only $100 for your first EMRA event, whether its NJMP, Pocono or The Nurburgring its still only $100 for the first event!
