Philadelphia's Classiest Drunkards
Had an absolute blast yesterday, can't wait till I can do it again! Monticello was very easy to learn, much easier than I thought it was gonna be.
Huge thanks to you Marc for coaching me through. I went from using 1/8 tank of fuel 1st session to using 3/4 in the final 2.
Carbotech's never went soft on me, and the *Specs were great from the word go. Car didn't skip a beat either and it took some abuse boy! Just thinking about it puts a smile on my face.

Monticello was incredible! Great track with all kinds of cool elements.
I averaged about 6.5mpg-7mpg throughout the day.
The RS performed flawlessly. The only issue was my 5th gear grind. I found that it was very difficult to go from 4th>5th at 7k rpm without a nasty grind. I can avoid it on the street by shifting slowly, but not so much at redline. I probably should have tried double clutching it.
The car stopped very well with the Racing Brake pads. There is nothing like standing on the brake pedal from 125mph down to 50mph. I think that I probably used about 6mm of pad up front. No more track days for this set.
Now I just have to start saving up for that $125k membership.

I can't stand X owners anymore. I hope I don't come off this bad!

X owners come in three flavors and I'll list them from highest to lowest percentage: 1) People that upgraded from a camry or accord and want performance but are too full of **** to commit to a two seater. 2) Yuppy dudes that want something with power and were just about to buy a BMW or Audi but end up buying a X and do nothing but complain about how unlike a German luxury car it is. 3) The smallest percentage are guys that upgraded either from an older Evo or similar a four banger turbo.
the trans, transfer case and downpipe are back in thanks to josh. the rest might be zipped up tonight.
i missing the damn thing. i've been driving the corolla at the edge for 2 weeks and now the brake pad wear indicators are into the rotors
.
your approval of that is actually important to me since we're the only ones in this group that have to read the X forums.
when josh and i were looking for a input shaft seal part number, he suggested i make a thread in the X section about it. i told him that anything technical in the X gets ignored because there are so many awesome threads about rock chips and dashboard rattles....oh and thin paint and how to drive stick.
so i made the thread and needless to say i got like 2 replies from two different people (which was helpful) and one from sri asking "why i had to open my trans up again," then the entire thread got buried and was ignored. gotta love the eX owners.
(actually if you read some of the old threads from 2003 , it's the same retarded crap. i attribute it to them being a bunch of noobs....myself included).

i think they come in more more category, the ex whinny 04-07 sti owners who decided they will not be upgrading to the sti hatch and now because they moved on my life and aggravation gets easier while peteys gets worst.
