not everyone plows over their cones, You can definitely knock one over without hearing it.

I get caught up in the moment. I remember getting close, but wont be sure which cone i hit.

James, you can walk up to the truck and ask if there were any cone calls. Just remember, they are really busy in the truck.

 

i hit a few cones on saturday in an audi, bmw and volvo.

at our work stations, the red z06 plowed in to a whole line of cones and started getting upset with me because i wasn't pulling them out from underneath fast enough. i'd pull one out and then find another. i didn't think he'd still be worried about his time after coming to a complete stop on course.

i nearly went off course and corrected on my third run and it screwed my time big time.

haha, I know that dude with the Vette, his name is Keith... he's a 'particular' fellow, lol. Trust me, he wasn't mad at you he was mad at himself for taking out a wall of cones. They guy had a pretty rough couple of month to say the least

 

he got a little pissy with me as well ... and i was the barcode scanner.

I didnt mind, you could tell he was a little edgy, and next time around he was totally chill.

yeah, dude really hit a rough patch, life changing stuff. This is the first time he's had his car out in months. Schedule permitting we're supposed to get together this week for lunch. aside from busting on him for how bad he drove I'll be sure to tell him he ruffled a couple feathers on Sunday with his **** poor attitude.

there is truth to that, but i find that if you keep your cool it helps everyone else keep cool.

i only get angry when people have malice or are trying to manipulate. If they are having a bad day, then it is what it is.

it was not a big deal to me. he wasn't rude or anything to me. i could just tell he was annoyed. i thought i was helping the dude out and it seemed like he didn't want me touching his car or whatever. i didn't think too much of it.....well only enough to post about it twice on a forum.

i'm a noob to autox (need i even say it) so any little thing i experience may get repeated but it isn't a big deal to me....just sharing.

 

not making excuses for him, just giving you a little insight as to why he as being a *****. The guy is actually a pretty helpful person and a staple in the corvette community with regard to collecting and sharing track data. Regardless I'll kick him in the nuts and say "that was for James, *****"
