Throw those Carbotechs back on Pete!You guys should try the CL pads if you want ultra strong cold bite. There's no warm up need on them whatsoever. The RC6 I had were amazingly strong, loud however. (I'm not trying to make a track pad comparison here, in case someone decides to read too much into things!)

The CLs can be pretty dangerous in the snow, in my opinion. There's no give to them. You feel the power as soon as you touch the pedal. I agree with you though Jeff, I've ran the 800s, and now the 500s, and they have been fine thus far. I was even fine on Autozone pads I ran during the 2008 winter.

my centric pads perform like stock but less dust so i was happy.
They were closing out their Kevlar ones, cant find invoice but looks like they have organic ones cheap but not as cheap as what i paid for the Kevlar ones
