You can disable it on Tephra V7 go to periphery

Ecu periphery (faa)

Look at Bit 2 and change the value to 0

Perfect if you dont want to spend 200.00 for an extra key lol

Set your ohmmeter to the 20000 ohms range. Turn on your meter and touch the spark plug wire terminals on one of the coils with the meter leads. You may get a reading between 5000 to 15000 ohms, Find out from spoolin what you should see. This checks the secondary resistance.

Set your ohmmeter to the 10 ohms range, and touch the terminal B+ (usually the center prong on the coil pack electrical connector) with one of the meter test leads, and touch the corresponding coil prong on the electrical connector with the other test lead. You may get a reading between 0.3 and 1.0 check with spoolin what it should be. This checks the primary resistance on each coil.

and suck it

in other news: my car isn't paid off yet so i refinanced it for the remaining years. it was worth it. if you guys are still paying on your cars, most of the credit unions in chester and montgomery counties have like 2-3% interest rates on used cars.

what do those rotors go for when new?

I'm on the fence with the whole 2-piece rotor deal. I understand the benefit with regard to rotating mass, but the thing I can't get past is that when they crack you have to take the old rotor apart and install a new ring... that is assuming you have a spare ring available to use.

With the solid rotors I get for $20 a corner @ rockauto all you do is throw the old one out and install a fresh one. Takes about 8 minutes. Its less work and cheaper. If I were at the track and cracked one of those fancy two piece rotors it would take who knows how long to reinstall a new one, which means lots track time... just sayin'

New PFC's are $750 + shipping. I don't know what replacement rings go for. I only posted that because I think its a great deal. If I didn't have rotors, I would buy them in a heart beat.
