I drove my buddies Z4 M coupe last weekend with DTC-60's and I must say I was throughly impressed. This was the 2nd car now I've driven with those pads and both had the same, amazing, feel.

I am over carbotechs. They're a good pad, don't get me wrong, but I'm finding there are much better pad choices out there for my driving style.

I'm sure between all of us we'll have enough spares to keep you going. I usually only carry one spare set with me but I'll being extras just in case. Swapping pads won't be an issue either. Not a game racing doesn't play around when it comes to HPDE domination.
Cool. Can't wait to see how Not a Game Racing rolls....

As Marc said, changing them won't be an issue... takes longer to jack the car up than anything.

I expect you to be pretty fast, Tim.

^ speaking of cheap. Gonna pick these calipers up instead of rebuilding mines:

hopefully they aren't total junk. a few of the bimmer racers I talked to use rebuilt calipers from this place with good results...

So I'll be bringing brake fluid for boberto and pads for Tim. Who going to bring lube?

In other news: I would like to try something thing other than carbotechs the next time around. I am pleased with the carbotechs and can only complaining about them tapering as the wear.

Pad taper is due to caliper flex. Not the pads fault.

^ did not know that.

These are coming from a warehouse in NJ. I was gonna to 2 day shipping but the guy said the free ground shipping they offer would get them to me by Wednesday so I just saved another $72. After getting refunded for core charges both calipers will wind up costing $172.54.

How do you like the RC6s? Any experience with the RC5+ or RC6E?

What bars? What springs/shocks?

I am just about through (should get these next couple of days out of them) my first set of DTC-60s. Overall I like them, but am not impressed with the pedal feel. Bite is good and so is modulation and lack of fade. I might be trying a set CLs, thus my curiosity about Thai's experience with them.
