the RC6 were great. felt like XP10 and the pedal feel is rock hard. modulation and release was not an issue. i can still modulate very well with out abs. they do make a lot of heat in the rotors though, and were the only pads that caused my pedal to go a little soft from fluid getting hot. i've tracked the evo for almost 2 years and my calipers were still red. i did one session with the RC6 and the paint on my calipers turned black. same thing happened with Tiebout. and they didn't last as long as i thought they would. i would run them again if they didn't cost so much. i never ran the RC5+ or RC6E, so can't compare.

i'm liking the ST47 i have now. they don't have as much initial bite as other pads but the torque is linear and modulation and release are very good. they hardly make any noise on the street or track. i remember the ST43 were the loudest pads i ever ran. two track days on them so far and they seems to be lasting pretty good. and i think they don't get as hot as the RC6 (sintered iron) pads.

i have some RacingBrake stainless pistons to try shortly, excited to see how they turn out. heard they only transfer 20% the heat compare to the oem aluminum pistons.

Deleted a post about my business, not wise to leave on the interwebz. I was basically venting...
Anyhow I thought I need to post up some Nationals pics of me and Shoe in grid

Bigs thanks to David Wampler for documenting our Nationals experience! Autocross ain't a game to Shoe and I, these pics prove it. Ish is SERIOUS.. Bringing the crazy to grid, Philly style. I was friqqin running up and down grid before my runs to calm down, really helped me focus. Not sure whats up with my facial expressions in some of these shots????
Last picture there is a truck blocking Shoe from getting back to grid to blanket the tires trying to keep heat in them. Needless to say I cursed that person out when they got near me. Many f-bombs were dropped, they got out of the way after that..
Sorry for the large pictures, but I never get to ruin a page in these threads, thought I would start now...

FYI, Tim Brownawell has two new sets of CL RC6 for Evo 9/10. he's selling both sets for $420. they are his left over inventory and he's selling them at cost. he'll be at the glen this weekend. if any one is interested, i'll let him know and he can bring them.

Gives you a good idea how crazy it is to drive one of those LMP cars, I would love to try that ish. Sucks the Dyson wouldn't let him through, being 5 laps down, they should know better.
