Great time this weekend, guys. Sucks it rained and we weren't able to get all dry running, but mixing in the wet stuff isn't all bad either.

Tim, what the hell happened to you on the ride home? I looked back and you were gone all the sudden...
I broke off to go route 54 on the way home. I hit 54 to 901. It's more of a direct route for me.

Seems a bunch of us had issues with Harry's this weekend, I know Marc did.

Post that ish up son, don't be scared. Its not a competition to see who can go quickest. As long as you progressed, thats what its all about. I know Tim bested his personal best by 4seconds in his last session, thats huge. Cangrats, Tim.

The Glen is absolutely a mans track. You have to have some serious gonads to hurl yourself around there quickly, much more so than say, Doah.

I ran timing this weekend too. I didn't do any on Saturday due to the rain and my first time on track. I knew it wouldn't be worth while to record. But I ran it all day on Sunday. I was able to improve in every session which was my goal.

I will post my fast lap later today or tomorrow. I also have video of me chasing Robert for a few laps.

No contacts all weekend and the vettes gave way pretty quickly.

My blue student (in a C5 with R6s) had a big off on Friday (after I solo'd him), but it wasn't his fault and he did a great job at not hitting anything: He was following a car that dropped fluid in the T1 braking zone, locked up, slid through the gravel trap and stopped with the passenger side against the tires, but no damage to the car--I was glad I wasn't in the car.

There was an instructor in a big AMG coupe (not sure what it was, will have to watch videos to tell) that turned in to T12 uber early, locked up, then tried to save it, came back across the track and stopped a few feat short of the pit wall jersey barrier that everyone always hits.

That NASCAR circuit was mad fun! I would love a full day on there. I'm uploading my vid from that session now. Its me following Pete & Thai.

EVO's straight dominated this weekend fa sho!
You got lap timer problems, I feel bad for you son...

My lap timer seemed to work really well. I think I got all 5-6 of my laps every time out on Sunday. Maybe because I wasn't going crazy fast like you, the iphone could keep up.

my highlight from yesterday was being called a "flamer" by the VIR snob and her instructor telling me i need a new turbo because of the smoke.

also that dude in the mini that came up to us Saturday night all drunk saying how he loves all the evos because we go out and run clean and fast was all complimentary towards me after my last session. i need to pay more attention to who i get point bys from. i don't really think about the car. i watched a video from my last session and realized i got a whole slew of point bys from about 5 cars and one of them being the e92m i was chasing in a previous session.

marc definitely dropped some knowledge on me this weekend.

Peep that track map and telemetry. That is what I was dealing with all day. SHould never have upgraded to the new iphone OS

No lap timing for me, GPS never connected properly around WGI. All I gotz was GoPro timing. But I missed recording my last session which was my best. Too skurd anyway for good timing with brake fade. Got some video of a B/C group WWX on the Esses and some go fast photos.
