He's also about a foot taller, and has wider eyes than you. Mad field of vision!

here's my mad excuse for sunday. my fast lap for saturday was 2:05.5, so i was hoping to do the same or faster on sunday because track was a little warmer.

first session was a bust because of traffic and electrical issues, my engine dying mid corners, probably loose battery terminal.

here's video of second session. after scrubbing tires on the out lap, we're all ready for the first hot lap. notice how much i backed off to give the viper a lead on the first lap, he had blocked me in previous sessions, so i want to have room this time. i still caught up to him on the first lap. and he blocked me on the second lap. so i decided to let off towards the end of second lap to get room for 3rd lap. but my tires were already corded by the 3rd lap and i wasn't able to match my time from saturday. 1st place did a 2:04.7 in the Z06

Andy, was that your beauty store I passed last weekend on the way to Warminster from center city? Is it right next to a McDonalds and the Olney train station?

the vid keeps stopping/skipping on meh, but I'll try again later.

Some of those vipers in TT2/TT1/TTU were clueless. I really don't know what they were doing out there. I was catching them in the M3 going up the esses & in the outer loop, that should NEVER happen.

just hit the pause button and let it buffer.

the problem for me was that the vipers that were staging in front of me has faster lap times, but they do like 2-3 semi hot laps before they really get on it. since i'm on A6, i'm ready to go on the first hot lap. so they block me for first 2-3 lap but by the time they get on it, my tire are over heated. if i fall back too far on the first hot lap, the guys behind me would be pissed and also i'll run into lapped traffic before i complete my first couple hot laps.

Yes, there is. Have to buy the setup specifically for your motor.

Thought so, just wanted to check.

Any of you guys who might be interested in picking up a set of track pads, there might be a good deal going on with Trinity Tek... I don't know as I haven't contacted him, but the pads are on sale on ebay. The rears are not the same for our cars, but the fronts are. I'd like to try the 47's, but its not in the budget at the moment.

If contact them, Sean is the guy you would want to speak with.

Yes. If you plan to DIY, you can purchase the wiring kit off Matt, and he give yo uthe parts numbers. The new setups are nice though. I have one of his earlier models, with OEM Toyota coils.

Seems like the miata guys run a very similar cop with Toyota coils as well.

Denso makes them for Toyota. They're good coils.

On the other hand, my neighbor's 7 sec RX-7 runs on Mercury coils. Mercury, as in the boat motor company... They look like dollar-store stuff.

Finally started getting comfortable in session 2 yesterday(it was my 4th sheshion all weekend). This is lap 2 and it's a little sloppy, but it's my fastest lap all weekend. I'm confident if I finished lap 3 it would have easily been in the low 2:10s maybe 2:09.
