I did pause it but its still stopping. It might be something to do with the comp Im on. I'll try at home.

I think a lot of those vipers probably were just taking longer to warm their **** up... guess they never heard of Cold Tire Domination. I would catch the same viper in teh same section of track almost err session and he would hold me up until after the outer loop. Then I would point him by again on the front straight but would catch him in the esses again.

Here is one lap from Saturday with no traffic. You can see the horrible shaking in the video, thats my brakes shuddering. Fu(king carbotech pad deposits! It got to the point where I couldn't brake harder than 20-30% without getting shudder. for Sunday I resorted to just lightly tapping the brakes and working on maintaining corner speed.

my GPS said I hit a top speed of 137, thats the fastest I've gone so far. Back in May @ WGI I think i was seeing 131ish. That suspension must be working.

you musta watched too much NASCAR, you take the bus-stop like they do.

If you would have had more seat time there i'm sure you would have been in the single digits. Nice driving, as usual.

137 mph in a stock power e36 is no joke. those hoosier slicks work pretty good huh, and no aero to slow you down.

135 is what I ran best on Saturday, with hoosiers. 137 was on Sunday in the third lap of my first session with street tires.

Not sure how I feel about those hoosiers... they slide a little too much for my taste. The grip was there, but I wasn't comfortable (yet) with the car moving around like it was with no audible warning what so ever. At least with the street tires I get some notice when they're going to start to slip on meh.

Marc, I like your track map. Is that the new layout at WGI?

That's the first thing I noticed when driving on Thai's old R6 last year. The tires felt great (only for 1 session), but there's absolutely no warning for edge of grip. I don't think I even got near it, but I was definitely looking to hear some noise. It's too bad they didn't last much longer than 1 session for me to try out. THe other 2 sessions, they were terrible.

Chu, I think I was on the same type of tires you were... Hoosier Koni scrubs. I'm pretty sure I drove your car at Lightning with the DTC-60' and hoosiers scrubs and was surprised how quickly they would give up grip, especially between t3 & t4. Its like one minute you're in a corner and the next you're sliding sideways with no warning.

Looking forward to trying NT01's this weekend @ NJMP. From what I hear/experienced they have audiable warning when they start to slide.

^ what happened to team arrive and drive?

You bishes complain too much. If you want tire noise, get nt05. Them **** be loud. If you want to be pro, man up and run quiet slick tires.

I don't think its the same. When you drove my car, it was Hoosier R6. The Koni Challenge is an entirely different tire I believe; full slick vs. DOT approved.

Steering wheel, seats, and driver mod is the best mod you can get. I wouldn't bother with power mods as you probably already saw the car was too much to handle as is.

CU, what makes you think you need to mod the car?

IMO, I wouldn't change anything on the car, just modify the driver by getting more seat time. Your car right now has WAY more potential than you do, no sense in making it even more capable until you are ready to handle it.

See the comments above. I'm sure everyone can admit that if they could do it all over again they would stay stock and spend their mod budget on hpde and autox. Once you feel confident in your driving skills you can begin your round of mods. Power should always be last on your list

Says the guy who did power mods first
