PCD: Last year's version
i is still here. didn't lose power or TV or intrawebz. power did flicker a couple times. lost some pieces of siding on the house, from what i can tell from inside. haven't gone out side to check around the house yet.

I got **** to do. You know, non emergent and non doctor type things. I have to dip early to get my kid though. Should be fun.
There wasn't a soul on the roads this morning today aside from a couple of cars. There always manages to be an ******* driving in the left lane and blocking errbody and when the opportunity to pass on the right arises, the person speeds up like 15mph. It was worse as you got closer to the city. I hate errbody.

here's video of Peter McIntosh (my arch nemesis in the Z06 that alwayswin) riding with me and giving me some pointers, he has over 100 hours on this track.
it started to drizzle rain as we were leaving the pit. my first lap was my normal line, except i was being conservative on the curve to stay off the wet paint. on second lap, i slowed down so Peter can give me some pointers. then 3rd lap, i was driving at speed using Peters recommendations.
Basically, what he tells me is that a fast driver use all the track, but a faster driver used more than the track. you have to put your wheels on the dirt, especially thunderbolt has very forgiving curbs. use more curbs on turn 2, 3, 4. don't track out all the way exiting 4 to setup the car for turn 5. be parallel to the track as far right as possible entering turn 5 and late apex for a good run to turn 6. enter the octopus wide and late apex to get a good run through the esses and carry more speed down the front straight. i normally hug the inside on the octopus.
i did several more hot laps using his advice but my camera battery died. if you get error, just click on the link to watch on youtube.
