I've been eyeing a Yugo GV with a wing and a hood scoop. She's a cherry, I hope I get the winning bid!

The wing is at the body shop to get matching paint...and yes, those are lambo doors on a proper car.

Even trade for the Evo once I get her running

Hopefully a stroked 4G64(2.6L), 10:5.1 compression, 14*timing up top, low 26psi, GSC S3s, port your EF3 turbine housing while sipping on some E85. 275+wide Hoosiers. BOOM I'd do all that except use a BBK-B turbo.

If not, no care.

has there ever been a definitive answer to the percentage of wheel spring rate lost with how the rear is mounted? i believe i read something that said you need like 20-40% more rear spring...kinda wide range. although it seems 10k/12k has been pretty proven.

don't know the exact number but pretty much every proven setup has higher rear spring rate than front due to mounting point of rear coilovers.

i'm sure there is a thread out there that either states the spring rate at the ground or you can find the formula to compute it but it's much easier to just understand that characteristic and just do what people with experience have proven to themselves.

i over thought it when i was shopping for coilovers. if you're on any sort of springs now (good performance or crappy/for looks set), something like 10k/12k is going to be very dramatic of a difference.

^ It doesn't move when you lean on it in the garage? My car will lean a little, but I have soft/crappy/for looks springs.
