I think I mentioned before, but I had a student earlier this year with one of those cars. I was real surprised how well that thing moved on a race track. TQ was errwhere.

It was blue. The looks do little for me. It just looks like a regular e90. I just want a diesel daily driver. I don't even need power seeing as my 70whp corolla moves like it has 500whp around all these fools on the way to work.

Have you looked at the used diesel car prices? I'd prefer to hold out to afford a new one down the line. For under $10k you're looking at a 10 year old Jetta with 250k+ miles.
I know they last a long time but I couldn't stomach spending like $8k on something like that. Ten years and 250k miles mean it needs a **** ton of other stuff, just not necessarily related to the motor.

Pete, I do like to old 70s and early 80s Mercedes 300D. I love the way those cars look.
