PCD: Last year's version
I just spent 10 minutes looking for you and Marc's quotes on subbies breaking down at tracks.
friend wants to build a kit car from factoryfive using a donor wrx car.

fyi, there was sti with a massive blown engine at Glen with NARRA a few weeks back. blown subie at track is just trivial, that's why i don't post about it anymore.
My ginger friend wants to build this:
https://www.factoryfive.com/kits/project-818/
it requires a wrx donor car, and I told him how the wrx engine is probably not the best choice for a stout racecar. He wants to build this for mad tyte handlobraesings
I was looking at
https://www.factoryfive.com/kits/gtm-supercar/
cuz it uses vette motor and chassis parts which is more reliable

He goes out for 4-5 laps at most each session and I think he's on his 3rd motor this year and they are not stock motors.
LOL! Not true. Curbs don't slow me down.... they slow down the rest of the racers so I look fast
They blew a motor at Road Atlanta and another at NJMP(witnessed that one, warmup lap then BOOM on the straight). I think Element Tuning runs some crazy engine blocks now because the subie ones can't even make 2 laps with the power he's making.
