Not true. I also drive it on airport runways. Also, I switch it back to E85 for teh winterz to keep the fuel system healthy during "hibernation".

I'm in Delaware. My station is out now, too. You probably will be hard pressed to find E85 anywhere in the winter months, because the volatility class changes for the winter to allow more gas in the mix. Most of it will be E70-E75. If you haven't tried it already, E85 is a biotch to start in the cold. I'd stick to 93 for winter and run a dual map in your car for when you are on E85 and can't find a station.

 

why bbk-b when your average speed is 40 mph. HKS 7460R is where it's at, mad spool son.

 

Switch between e85 and gas and vice versa isn't so simple. I think switching back to gas is worse than the other way.

 

 

In a 14 gallon tank, if you run it down to 2 gallons left and fill with E10, you end up with E21. Drive it easy for that tank, fill it up and you are fine.

For me, it's harder the other way around, because 2 gal of E10 filled with E85 give E74. My pump gas tune is for getting around, nothing crazy. The E85 tune is full kill mode, so that one must be full on E85 before dipping into it.

 

Supposedly the bb chra version of the b spools the same as a bbk full, but makes more powah. Someone buy me all three and I'll do a comparison...
