since i granny shift all my orings were in great condition. Plus I had the concierge level of work done by Chu @ NNR who did everything in the most careful of manners.

He is so careful he wipes his butt 50 times when using the bathroom- even if he is just peeing

You talking about the big o-ring that goes on the cover? It's not really necessary to get a new one. Just lube it before putting it back together so it doesn't pinch. Your buddy should handle this with ease.

Can you provide with a part number or tell me which one you got since no one else was able to answer my question? Thank you.

Yeah, that's one of them. Mine was showing signs of wear and weeping a little bit.. They figured it was just better to replace it since we were in there, hard to argue with, IMO. Just curious what others had done...

^You can buy the o-rings and seals from Jacks individually, or as a package. I bought the package when I did mine, but I also have double you miles. Mine didn't show too much sign of wear.

I just rebuilt my twin disc and replaced some seals (rear main and t-case to trans oring). Got errthang from extreme psi and it showed up next day. If you are close, you could pick up. That o-ring is less than a dollar. I'd replace it everytime for da helluvit.

if the tcase/trans seals are the same as the X (which they usually are), they are sometimes hard to get from mitsu. the large thin seal for the tcase (the one that looks like a plastic bracelet a girl would wear in the 1980s) was on national backorder about a year ago.
