I never looked at the specs. I drove a toureg TDI and wasn't terribly impressed with the torque/power. It's a heavier car but I expected it to be more than adequately powered.

^ No. He was just actually driving his car. It was getting up and moving around traffic pretty nicely. I still want one.

And anything on the road can blow the doors off the corolla.

They make great power, 265Hp, alittle over 400tq, and still get 36mpg on highway. I've read people reporting 40mpg on long trips. I would love to get one as a daily driver.

They make 425 lb-ft (ft-lb?) of torque at 1750rpm. One of the plug and play chips guarantee 300hp and 500lb-ft. Wish I had 335d monies.

Marc, it was gray. I didn't notice a front plate but the PA plate said something like "petepro" or "propete" which I interpreted to mean that he was late for tennis practice.

Diesels come at a premium price these days so I'm not even going to bother with check used prices on them. Maybe I'll buy one in 14-15 years for my son and fix one up for him.

My father wants to flash his bluetec, I keep telling him no. The company who he was looking at claims similar numbers I believe.

Only a few pennies more than 93 octane. A small sacrifice for anyone looking for a nice and fun daily driver, some luxury, and none of the hybrid bs.

I would love to buy something cheap when he's 12-13 and spend a few years replacing errthing and getting it safe for him for when he's old enough to drive. In reality, it would be something simpler than a computerized German car.
