It makes me sick thinking about it. I'm gunna send them to you, it's your turn to have them haunt you.
As you all know, she got f#cked up.

The guard rail is a tough teacher.
Insurance obviously isn't going to cover it because it happened on a race track. Regardless of the event/activity/program whatever.
They said it was a total loss and sent me their own assessed estimate to repair which came out to be a little over $13k.
It's still at the shop the insurance company towed it to. I asked the shop to give me their own estimate for ***** and giggles, just so that I could compare and go through the idea in my head to have it fixed. I don't think that'll happen, though.
I'll either sell it as a whole, which is much easier... or, break it all down and part it out. I'd rather not, only because it's a much longer time frame, a lot more work, and just overall, a pain in the ***.
Thanks to everyone for the kind words and the offers to help at the track. Thanks to everyone who's helped me afterwards, too. Advice goes a long way. It's very much appreciated.
What does everyone think?

It was nice meeting you briefly. I'm sorry that this happened on your first ever event. I hope it doesn't scare you away from this hobby/sport. There's is nothing more fun than driving your car as it was designed to be driven. I can understand if you don't want to give it another try though....
As for selling vs. parting out, it's much easier for someone outside the situation to say what they would do. So that being said, if it were my car, I find a lot more value to be had in parting out the wheels, coilovers and various other parts then selling the rest of the car off.
Keep us updated on how you make out.
On another note I just downloaded Real Racing 3 for my droid tablet game is free and looks pretty awesome. What is cool to is you can play biotches on line. So whoever has android phone or tablet download and lets get some racing on (for free ya know).

The game is nice, best racing graphics I've seen so far and control is decent. im going to install it on my phone today. Ill let you know when in have my car all riced out and then we battle.
Jalal, sorry about the car. At least you walked away without injuries. You'd probably make out better if you part the car out, but it would take time and work. Or you could offer partout where people can come to you to pull what ever they need off the car. Or maybe you can have cbrd do the part out for you if you're not mechanically incline. Just curious, what are you looking to get for the whole car.
