Jalal, if you're going to rebuild, try to find as much used parts a possible. New oem hood and fenders and bumper from the dealer is mad expensive. That's probably why the estimate was so high.

Again, thanks to all those that have helped and all those willing to help. It's amazing to know I've got some homies that take it deep at my side.

If you aren't worried about bringing it back to show room condition I think you can get it repaired on the cheap with used parts... assuming no frame damage and you don't mind having mis-matched colors.

here is what I see from my limited experience:
hood - $200
fender - $200 - SWAG
non-hid light(s) - $400
rad - $150
misc hoses - $250est
control arm/tie rod - $300ish
bumper - $300
bumper support - $75
fmic - $100
oem front suspension - $400
alignment - $250
total - $2,625
labor - ?????
car wrap - ?????

I think I'm probably over estimating some parts and maybe even accounting for ish you don't even need.

I do agree that you could rebuild it for way less than those estimates... It will just take a little time. I bet you could probably buy almost every part you need here on the forum.

exactly
because body shops are buying oem priced parts.
imagine the bill at least charges you $1000 for a new bumper and paint.

Remember, dudes. This car is my only car. This is my daily driver. I do not wan to half *** things or leave things out. I mean to say that I just want a proper rebuild if that were to happen. Saving money on body panels and some parts is fine. But I do not want to forget the details. I want the car to be complete and worry free, and as it was before.

This is all probably unreasonable to do on a budget, which I completely understand and is probably why the estimate to do it is high. But I would never want to skimp and half *** anything.

After all, I'll be living with it every single day and I don't want anything missed.

you're bolting on non-mechanical parts for the most part. unless you forget to tighten a bolt it doesn't get much more worry free than that. This ish isn't that difficult, not like you're rebuilding the motor or anything... only nuts and bolts, bra.

obviously the car would have to get straightened out on the rack first... its hard to tell from the pics if there is frame damage or not. It took kinda a weird hit and the fact that it was wet and the speeds were low helps.
