eventually you'll get sick of doing laps and dominating HPDE.

Weren't you talking about running E-class this year with GTA? I don't think they're coming back to NJMP...

What if there was a class/competition here in the NE similar to how GTA/RTA did events where it was limited by tire type? I've been wanting to get an EVO/STI shoot out type event together for a while now... I think there would be a great turnout here in the NE and it would fill the gap between NASA TT & DE as well as fill the void RTA/GTA has left. Thoughts?

I watched it too. The GTR was one of the first imports that even close in HP to those muscle cars.

No Evo on the show that I saw yet, but there has been an STI and a few M3's.

From NJMP:

"Good news…. Head of maintenance had the box in his truck.

Bad news… No license plates in the box.

The box is at the registration building at the main gate. I will leave Jalal’s name at the gate, and he can pick it up there."

Jalal, I will be at the track on 3/17 and can pick it up for you if you want and then ship it to you...or...we can probably shuttle it between PCD members to do a PCD Express delivery...but will take some time to get to you. I know I will be seeing Marc sometime during that same week.

I said I would have ran that RTA event, but doubt I would have cause I would need to run a cat, and that just aint happenin.

I have no interest in doing TT's, prefectly fine with doing DE's. Chu guys can keep trying to convince me otherwise all you want.

Somebody talk me out of RS-3s. Nt05s in the 245/40 size are like 180 a tire now which is not a deal at all. Not sure if I wanna put the money out for zIIs just yet either since they would most certainly be a waste for me and meh slowness. There's just no other tire out there for the same price as the RS-3 that performs (In the dry specifically, they suck in the wet)

Justin, nice work. Give me the box and I'll ship it to Jalal.

BTW, you must have more pull at NJMP than me. I emailed two guys yesterday and still haven't gotten a response.

Its GTA, not RTA. RTA = no longer around. GTA = still around, just not doing NJMP this year.

You can't go wrong with either tires. Dunlops will give you great all around grip and last a long time on an e36. RS3 will have the best dry grip and probably wear the quickest. Never used NT05's, but if they're cheap enough I'd give them a shot.

Nt05 are pretty narrow. I can fit 275 on my 9" wheels and its not even pinched.

Yeah there is no 245 for the nt05 in my size. And I'm not to interested in going nuts just to make the tires fit. I guess I will be going with the RS-3, nothing else out there that seems up to the task for the money.

Thanks for the input my ninjas.
