Not speaking from experience but more from feedback. You'll get more track days out of nt05. So do you want more grip initially or do you want the tires to last longer? I ran nt05 on my 240 at the last CTD and did not have a single problem with them even in the cold weather.

Jeffro - there is an autox this Sunday in Morgantown. I am probably not running, but would be willing to scope it out if you are running.

It's supposed to be 50* which won't be all that bad.

Jalal, I will be at the track on 3/17 and can pick it up for you if you want and then ship it to you...or...we can probably shuttle it between PCD members to do a PCD Express delivery...but will take some time to get to you. I know I will be seeing Marc sometime during that same week.

The 275 nt05 are more like 265, they were about .5" narrower than 275 nt01 when I stacked them up next to each other. But they are still wider than 255 dunlops.

That's a wrong statement cause chu never ran nt05 before. I ran nt05 and Dunlop and can say the nt05 does not chunk when pushed hard. I don't know how the new Dunlop has improved in that aspect.
