PCD: 2013-2014 Till We Break It Edition
Let's discuss concrete floor sealers. Who's used them, and what did you like? I want to revamp my garage this spring for better lighting, and seal the floor. I did some searching for products on HD's site, but there are a lot of products on the market.
bedding track pads on the street is usually not enought. the pads have to get up near the operating temperature for the resin to cure, that's usually hard to do on the street with street tires. you'll need to do brake from 100+ mph until you feel fade in the pads, then they are hot enough. or you can buy pre-bedded pads like carbotech which cost $20 more, they just cook them in an oven to 2000F degree. or buy CL pads which dont need bedding cause they are made using very high heat and no resin to cure. as far as transfering material to rotors, that only takes a few brake cycle to do.
