check out www.garagejournal.com lots of info there. this sping I plan to finish my garage project by installing siding and doing epoxy on the floor. From what research I've done so far (minimal), epoxy is the way to go. The key is in the prep work though.

it was wet and the GTR has crappy all seasons on it, so all we did was put a transfer layer down. Pads bite HARD now. Hitting ABS was a breeze. Once better tires go on it will stop awesome. We'll see if Carson can brake harder at CTD than I was doing in the wet on the street.

Those pads looks more than one autox use as stated. He said the shims were used for two track days, does that mean the pads also?

Thanks for the tip. I plan on doing a few stages of concrete floor cleaner with a pressure washer. I'll let it set overnight so everything dries thoroughly before applying the sealer. I also heard epoxy is the way to go. Rustoleum makes an epoxy sealer. I don't know of other brands that are good.

I thought about buying those pads and ducts, but I best spend the money elsewhere on the car.

My pads always machine my rotor clean when driving home from the track so I see bedding in on the street as pointless.

track pads are very abbrasive when they are cold, they act like sand paper.
