I usually don't run in 1st gear at autoX unless I absolutely have to. The car gets too twitchy and starts to pitch back and forth too much.

 

I will lump you in with the Papa Johns evo guy, lol.

 

Yes that was exactly the problem. Every time I lifted off the gas in first it would just start bucking like crazy so I would push the clutch in to smooth it out.

Anyone going to the auto-x this weekend? You guys really don't want me to be the sole Evo representative again, pretty sure I was easily the slowest turbo'd car there......

Tranny is in motor is dropped in, turbo kit going to be bolted on over the weekend. Can't wait. My IM expires though so i gotta grab some seasonals before Nick tunes it.

no i was going to go for more of a rally look for my car i love to rip it through the snow and dirt i dont like autocross but love rally x i was going to put that on so it would keep me from ripping off my front bumper on the trails that i go on but i think i am just going to fix up my focus for rally i found a light bar for my focus from the same company i know it not all wheel drive but its payoff so if i wreck it or mess it up really good i dont really have to worry about it

 

Yes, I did the t-case when I rebuilt my tranny the first time. Shep stage 2 w/ LSD. Don't worry, I did everything I could when I had the chance.
