Turbojunkie or other portland area racers

What times are you expecting this spring? I've been lurking and see you have a few new mods.

I'm looking for a 11.5 this year. I dont want to go much faster because I don't want a cage. Although I should be set for a good low 11 pass if I push it.

I'll still be on a "stock-ish" turbo though.

I'm expecting tranfer case problems though, how did yours turn out.

I'm hoping to have the car tuned properly with the AEM, 880s, 280s, etc. and the stock turbo. We'll see what it does

Cool, another stock turbo guy.
880s? Are those too big for "stock" turbo?
Just curious why so big? Nitrous controlled with AEM?
I'm going to click on the 3.5" exhaust thread from your sig. now.

For a stock ECU they're too big, but an AEM can run the big boys.

BTW, I am hoping to hit 12's this year .

HEY little what's up, im hoping to hit 11's finally. not a whole lot new stuff. ive added a forged wga 20psi spring, safc2, br680's, and a forged TC from TRE. What to you mean by stockish turbo do i smell a br20g ?? lol. Im waiting for tre to refund my core so i can get my fmic from peak boost. With those additions and decent short time im expecting 11.5-11.8 range. I know jj008 has some neat things happening this year. cant wait to see yall at track.

I'm workin on geting the Forced Performance turbo set up. I wont say the WR word because it seams so controversial, but I have personal experience with it and it is exactly what I want.

I'm also workin on a Aqua Mist set up, Perrin reworked injectors, and posibly a tuned Hydra. Not sure on the Hydra yet as I like the simplicity of a flash tuned by a Safc for track.

Other posibilities are a DC manifold and ebay O2 housing.

All this is to maximize the stockish turbo because I love the way stock turbo cars drive.

FP is no longer making the WR, but they are coming out w/ a new EVO 9 based turbo . It should be an interesting solution.

lol, ebay o2 housing. im going to buy one also. im not sure if i want to get the kit which comes with the tubular mani, i know no gains from the mani, but adds a little bling to car . bucshur got...... i think 8-10 whp with that 60$ ebay 02. its worth a try for sure. Ive read a little on the hyra system, sounds complex. Im more than likely going to run out the stocker till march and just slap on a BR stage 3 head and the 20g9. should be good for some low 11's on race and high ones on pump. Idunno, check back in a week and im sure ill have a whole new plan . we need to watch out for chano ( my friend who drives the sti) he just got a perrin big fmic, and ordered a gt12 (about the same as a gt35) and some 880's. Well see.
