damn it got late last night, we didn't leave from WW until 1 am! It was worth it though (IMO), but judge for yourself .

New mitsu canards (put these on last weekend actually).

CF goodies in the box - so damn light I thought the box was empty!

CF trunk - full internal bracing, all CF - 4 lbs!

did I mention the hood is *light* - oh yeah and did I mention it was late? This was past midnight, but robi just kept going. Favorite quote "being tired is just a state of mind".

Cutting the holes for the aero-catches (hood pins). Sneeze and you'll destroy a $800 CF body part ...

Trunk on the car - very nice fit!

really good fitment on the hood too ... (this is Fri morning after washing the car)

Flush mounted aero-catches = hood pins for the 21st century

It was good to see the turn out last night at Westwerks.

Robi, keep up the good work. I'm sure all your customers up here with be quite happy with their suspensions. I sure have been - it really transformed the car.

I'll add my thanks in there as well to Robi, his apprentice Nate and the guys at West Werks.

I did the competition KW's and the rear bushings. The car is noticably stiffer, but isn't nearly as harsh over the bumps and ruts. The car also trammels less but that might have something to do with the excessive toe out (1/8"!!) the car had before Robi's alignment.

What I was impressed with is that Robi was able to get the car dead on 50.0% cross weight. I'm anxious to get the car on the track.

Sorry I didn't make it back for the BBQ, but the traffic was bad and there was some beer at Redhook that needed my attention.

Mark

Well we made it home on time for my B-day dinner! Cooked and served by my favorite french chef (my oldest daughters boy friend.....) I had a great time in Redmond meeting a bunch of new evoista friends (again)...It was nice seeing the people from last year too! Eric that Car is too cheap!!!!BEST DEAL ON A MODDED USED EVO I HAVE HEAR ABOUT IN 3 YEARS (but I guess you want a fast sale) FANTASTIC build! clean and fast.. Voidhawk that car is nicer than the last time we went to town on it! I'm also glad everyones suspension is working like you want it to. West Werks was great and they continued to impress me with their desire to learn about everything EVO...looking forward to the BMW/EVO fest next time..Thanks again for all your help and lift time I would have had a MAJOR pita trying to do everything in ralphs garage!

Hey Kyle, I don't know your email address, so here are the two logs we took. I talked to some people about the knock signal - apparently EvoScan sees the knock signal at the ECU output, so as long as the ECU decides the knock sensor voltage is below the threshold for what is acceptable, the EvoScan knock count will show zero.

Nice, thanks buddy.

Now just to figure out the whole 41 degrees timing while building boost and -10 degrees timing while cruising thing .

One last update - in case anybody else wants to do the CF trunk bit: I got two 4 ft 3/16 iron rods at the Home Depot to replace the stock trunk springs. They are the perfect length (just use two vise grips to bend them into shape), and have just enough force to keep the trunk open.
