Hello
Just wanted to bounce out a hello to you guys & gals. Getting transferred out from Hawaii to Port Angeles, WA (Coast Guard). Bought the '06 Evo IX and only got to drive her about 400mi before sending it out on the barge. Couple of questions for all of you. EVO scene in PA? 
and any recommendations on break-in period?
Thanks, will up in and around Seattle/Tacoma on the 11th of August to pick her up.

"Evo Scene" in PA? There's an Evo scene of 1 when my wife takes the Evo up to visit her family. I don't think I have ever seen a single other Evo up there or anywhere else on the peninsula for that matter.

Welcome. I fly SAR out of Whidbey Island so we work with you guys a lot on the over water stuff. I'll fly over PA every once in a while in a ghetto painted grey knighthawk with random orange doors and panels. You can't miss me.
My EVO is white and can be found driving like an old woman in cop infested Oak Harbor, or in pieces at the Torquefreaks shop in Portland OR.
Both vehicles are high maintenance but fast and fun! You'll love your EVO until the double edged sword of mod fever hits. Then it will probably become love/hate. At least with your dwindling bank account.

Thanks for the responses, 600miles eh? done deal. I had a feeling about the "EVO" scene up there. thanks bigd

FlyNavy - I am going to have to try and keep the mod bug down as I bought a house up on 11th street, that's going to be taking about 75% of the funds, until I can get it refininaced. But that particular bug is most definitely a persistant one
Looking forward to the back roads and 101 up there.
