I have never seen a dynapack but im sure the wheel size of the car can be factored in since it connects to where the wheels connect , kinda like when you put bigger rims on a honda the speedo goes off a little, in the end it doesn't matter what dyno your on you just need to stay on that type of dyno to know your true gains over stock.

That gear ratio, and it's very important on a dynapac. However, wheel size doesn't make a difference since the wheels are off the car.

Big wheels & tires will change dyno numbers on roller dyno's. Even a BBK can change the numbers. It's all rotational weight.

With over sized wheels & tires the roll out of the tire changes, so it changes the gear ratio. That's why the speedo is off.

Guess your right on that since no matter what car you put on it , it will never have wheels on, which brings me to my last sentence quoted, he'll just have to stay with that dyno at that shop to know his gains from baseline.

I don't. Notice how his is set to 1.00? Yours is probably set to .24 or .18 depending on what percentage he wanted to add to your wheel hp to make flywheel.

His number ARE wheel HP.

Like I said before, when my Evo made 365 I trapped at 116. Trap speeds don't lie.

Yeah, I cannot wait to see what the 1/4 mile and trap numbers are. I have never dragged a car before, so I am sure they will be low for awhile. Also, I probably should get a new clutch since the stock one is already shuddering in 1st.

If he's coming over here Saturday and leaving from my house sunday I might swing by. If there is time I would pay to see what my completely blind tune does

Slow shift/bad launch will not affect your mph.....a missed shift and long pause will have an affect.

When I got my Sti tuned on a dynopack, they took the diameter and weight of the wheel and put it in as a variable into the cpu. Dynopack sheets are really confusing because it always says flywheel hp, but you can set it for whp, although it won't say it on the sheet. On the other hand, although great for tuning, dynopacks generally give higher whp readings than a dynojet. Thats what I was told by my tuner at the time anyways...

false.
Like I have been naming examples earlier, we have been consistently reading lower then dynojet on same cars, at least after Moses and I came into axiom and have set up gear ratios correctly. Like i said at the top of
page 3, call DD even..they prefer Dynapack users.

Just because everyone does something, or has the same thing doesnt make it right.
