346hp/356tq EVO IX MR on Dynapack
dude, seriously...
If you compared some of the most renound shops in the Import Scene and using dynapacks.... to serial killers??? you have problems... not trying to be personal at all, just the comment didnt make sense at all...
Its simple - dynapacks may take a bit longer to setup on a car, but they are consistant, and reliable when properly used on a car. The company backs their product, and more and more big names are using them to tune their cars. You dont wear down your tires VS. a conventional dyno, and you can directly compare results from one shop to the next when you factor in the variables.
I'm seriously too tired to think at the moment, so I'll spare myself going off in a jibber jab technobable splurge...

Okay while Cereal Killers may have been an interesting way of saying it how about this:
Craftsman, Matco, Snap on.
Which Torque wrench is the best? They all do the job and give you before and after results. As long as they are used before and after you know the total change and can compare it to itself. Comparing one to the next is useless.
Dynos are no different. As long as the baseline and tuning are done on the same dyno the same day or similar conditions, thats all thats important. This much has already been said. Who cares who uses a Dynapac, Dynojet, Mustang, etc. They are all simply tools designed to make it easier to tune. You can tune on a perfectly flat road and get a better tune (in regards to REAL WORLD performance) but face some severe legal issues when you get caught winding out 4th.
and besides Laggin's comment is correct. There are plenty of Serial Killers that use knives, does mean that they are incorrect compared to the ones that use guns?

Please keep the flaming to yourself in regards to my reply. I used to have an SRT-4 that made 507whp on a Dyno Pack. My fastest run with a 1.787 60' was a 11.124 @ 129.34 MPH so the Dyno Packs can't be too far off if you look at a horsepower calculator and weight of the car! A 3000lb Neon with a trap speed of 129.34 is supposed to have 507whp on this calculator: www.speedworldmotorplex.com
Thanks Anthony
