Turbo Manifold Porting

Do any of you know somewhere local that will port a stock turbo manifold? Also, any idea on cost? I know Buschur racing makes one, but it's $200 plus core, which is kind of pricey.

Any ideas?

Yes. But i think I'm going to buy an o2 housing from TTP. Here's my plan:

Buy o2 housing and DP from TTP.
Get o2 housing and stock turbo mani ported.
Get o2 housing, DP, and stock turbo mani ceramic coated at performance coatings in Auburn.
Install and have fun

It is $195 for the port and coating through Buschur. I bet it would be like $95 for just the porting alone. They did my 10.5 for like $75 for just the porting. Go Buschur. Everything was gasket matched perfect.

The best ported stock 02 will not hold a candle to a tubular O2 housing. Waste of money to port the O2.

well, that's what i meant. I'm buying it from you, Scott, lol. do those tubular ones you sell not need to be ported for optimal flow? i just figured before i put it in I might as well get it ported.

Just get one of the Foredom porting tools. If you port a couple of items it'll pay for itself. Just requires a lot of patience.

Might try Northwest Connecting Rod if they're still around. They did a lot of porting/headwork for a VW race team I turned wrenches for. They're in the South Seattle area.
