go to openecu, there should be a link in the ECUFlash tuning forum, i think they are like $100 for the cable and the program is free. i will look tomorrow and post the links.

www.tactrix.com for the cable, about $80 or so plus shipping.

Then www.openecu.org for ECUflash.

Also, go look into Evoscan. Worth it's weight in the $25 registration fee.

Trust me, those 3 things will become your best friends in no time.

(course, then you get to worry about the wide band O2 and related goodness, which will also become your best friend!)

Not saying not, but with the other parts he has he needs a re-tune anyway so why not get the idle fixed the same time? Hes already looking for a tuner anyway.
