EVO broken into today...

At Foster U-Pull It this afternoon for just over an hour. Some piece of human waste broke out my passenger rear window and went through my car. Stole my phone and some other stuff.

So... no "alarm" on these thing? What's the "beep" all about when you "arm" it then? What the HELL didn't anyone stop the guy?

You hear something... YOU TELL ME. I'm gonna put some hurt one them if I ever find them.

Phone can be replaced. Stuff comes and goes... but they assaulted my EVO.

So if any of you WERE in my cell's address book... you might want to give me a call or shoot me an IM or EM... I've no longer got your info.

Scott

That sucks. I don't leave anything in my car for this reason.

Damn that sucks man.. Yeah the factory 'alarm' isn't much of an alarm at all. It locks the doors and that's about it. I think it does the BS of going off if someone opens breaks the window and opens the door, but if they just break glass and reach in, it won't do anything. It's why I added an Autopage alarm the first week I owned the car.

made it sound like the OP deserved what happened to him, I suggest you rephrase it to avoid confusion.

At least your car was still there. Could come home and find it gone like I did in 06. My first Evo (brand new 2006 EB GSR), had it 3 months. :-\

You can only hope that Karma comes back around to the person who does such things, but most likely it's not the case. I've heard of cars getting broken into for a few dollars laying on the seat.

Still sorry to hear about your car getting assaulted though. :-\
