Defi's are hugely expensive and unless your going to log and parse the data, they're a total rip IMO. There's a number of quality gauge manufacturers on the market. Hell, I run a Ebay S3 boost gauge and it's as accurate as I ever need. Gauges unfortunately only provide a reference range, calibration accuracy of the 'pod' style guages we use in our cars are not very accurate, really only usable for reference readings.

Have you ever calibrated them against some known benchmarks?

I have Stewart Warner. Not cool, but functional and reasonably priced. 42 Draft Designs has nice gauge kits with wiring, tubing, etc..

My Defi BF's are off by about 1.5psi compared to my Zeitronix MAP. They have nice logging features and look nice though. I wish they were a tad bit more accurate though for the $$$

Boost will be off by +/- 1 from what i remember when most people did this comparison. In any case for a quick reference it should be accurate enough but not sure if its worth the price (as GTisRule says).

I just run some boring old Autometers and they work for me.
