Tint?

What percent tint do you have? Do cops in WA mess with you? I need to decide what percent I'm getting. The darker the better... Any suggestions?

Incorrect. The legal limit is 35%. And, most shops will go down to 5%.

Because some agencies caring tint readers. It is a device that slides over a window and reads through the tint.

I have had 5% for almost a year and I have yet to be pulled over for it yet (knock on wood). Seems like they seem to be pretty chill with it. I have been pulled over probably 10 times in the evo and no cop has said anything about it. It is pretty fugging dark too. In the day time you can BARLEY see a shadow through it, but in the evening/night you can not see ****.

Yes it is. But no hassles from the cops...even though to be fair as Jake notes above they don't seem to hassle much about it here as they do say in FL or CA.

If I was to do it on my next car i would try 25% or so which seems to be noticeably darker, but not so dark that you can't see out of the car at night .

I have 15% onyx, which would be around 10 maybe a little less. I do get messed with constantly from cops, but very rarely from the tint alone, rather than the whole car.

The only problem I have with darker tint is how annoying it gets, trying to see out, rather than have people see in. Driving at night with dark tint is so annoying I would rather have no tint at all, maybe that's just me but rolling you're windows down to back out of someplace, or looking for a house, or doing anything really, just sucks.

On my car I had 5% in my rear window that rolled down and 20% all around, cops never bothered me about it. Been pulled over and their bright flood light just flashes through anyways haha.
