So is it possible to get 23-24 psi using a boost pill and a tune?

People here are a little partial to ETS, they are local and their customer service is amazing to say the least.... I have almost all there products, piping, manifold, exhaust, intercooler and I am completely satisfied with the gains and quality... Did I mention they are local??

At that point I would just pull the pill, but like Aaron said, all cars are different. There is no for sure saying that your car will achieve those amounts of boost. But if I were going to try, like Codgi said. Call English Racing and they will steer you in the right direction....

When properly tuned for boost even using the pills gives you way more control over your boost, can give you a much flatter boost profile (see not having to turn the MBC into the sky to get it to hold reasonable boost up top) and best of all because it can understand how to adjust itself based on temperature (the M in MBC does stand for Manual ) can re-calibrate itself for differing conditions.

If you go with the 3 port then this is moot (main reason why the pills weren't as popular post mid 2007). There is a reason why a good chunk of the people who actively tune/log their cars in more moderate climates have abandoned MBCs for the stock ECU (NW climate is particularly tricky to get it to work right).... See what scheides has been able to do with his setup and then try to re-produce his boost profile with an MBC...not happening.

The downside with it is that you definitely cannot change the pressure it runs as easily as an MBC. But i guess if you are that hard-core you'd probably get the map switching harness and have a "low" and "high" setting anyway....

Theoretically yes, but with a whole bunch of stock parts the car would probably run pretty crappy at that boost level. If you are going to use the ECU to control boost, as I noted above the pills are old school. A 3 port is a much better option just that it goes further away from stock. I just threw it out there since you wanted to know about it .

What he said. If ER is doing the tune they can best steer you as to how they prefer to control boost.

I don't see a lot of SRT-4's anymore.

Wait do you have a SRT-4 Neon or a SRT-4 Caliber? I know Dodge change the platform type a year or two back.
