I was wondering when i should get a tune? I have installed hks intake, a test pipe, megan racing catback exhaust, and i am putting a downpipe in maybe a o2 housing as well. I just wanted to know what else should i do before i get a tune i dont want much more done in my opinion. I just want a mild hp gain maybe like get it up to 290-300whp and like 300+ wtq. I have dynoed it and it is at 248.9whp and 262.5wtq already and that was before the catback was installed.

That should be good for now if you want to hit 290-300whp....maybe ported exhaust manifold and cams. But with those parts it should be good for 300whp or more.

you should be able to clear 300whp with your current mods plus dp and 02 housing and mbc. how much boost do you plan to run?

 

All I have is MBC, drop in KN filter, and Walbro 255. Made 307 whp and like 320 tq. Tuned at ER. Before that my car was completely stock with like 240 whp.

 

what was your max boost adjusted to on the mbc? thats some pretty good numbers assuming you have the stock exhaust.

 

Yeah stock everything accept what was listed. Boost was at 25 psi. Of course I got a boost gauge to measure boost..

So currently I have more TQ than WHP. I think im bottle necking my car with stock exhaust, pipes, cats and what not..
