i have a quick question for tune
After being tuned and while running horrible friction tires (BFG KDW2's...loud and bad mpg! :thumbdwn
I get about the same mileage or a little better than stock. I make sure to run meth everytime the car drives (said: I get into it) and I consistently clear 250 with 2+ gallons left whenever I fillup (gas light goes on pretty early on this car).
I can easily clear 300 if I push it, but I don't bother. BTW - I run Costco gas most of the time, since I'm juicing.

Sounds like quite a few of you guys are running a MBC/EBC. For those of you using them, have you noticed a difference in the boost you are seeing when our temperate northwest climate goes outside the norm? Over the last two years I've seen everything from snow on the track to track temps hovering at 110-120F in Washington state (Bremerton and Packwood respectively).
I've been stuck in the land of stock boost due to an SCCA class, but hopefully I will be moving into a boost friendly class real soon. All you guys keep making me too jealous of the power your making and I finally decided I needed to join in.

Not with an evo personally since I just got mines tuned, but based on the nature of what turbos do and how engines work.. A car would lose more power from higher elevation due to less/thinner air and hotter air wouldn't help the case.
ok, im gonna order my ets licp/ebc then take some money out for a tune! co-worker bought an isF and those things are QUICK!
definately need to just bite the bullet and tune the car! its been a year anyway...

Unfortunately I've had bad luck with Shell so I tend to stay away. I won't run Arco and Chevron is actually out of the way. There is a 76 that is close, but I have had scares with 76 (not sure if it was the culprit though). I'll try that for a few fillups and see how she goes.
Someone needs to seriously start carrying e85 in Monroe!!!
definitely bite the bullet so you can make your co-worker question his decision, at least power wise. He at least has you beat on the luxury side. Was the IS-F purchased new?
no used with 14k miles. Picked it up for 42,000. the dealer took the trade in for 40k i think he said, but it was on their lot for 210 days.
its a VERY nice car...i could care less about the luxory side. LOL
