painting headlights on sunday
okay, since you peoples know what my car looks like, i thought i would ask you what i should do for my headlights. i am going to paint them black after a recent and inspirational post by zapcolancer. if you look at his, he has got a red ring around his blinker. should i just do straight black or should i add any accent colors anywhere?
if it's like honda headlights, bake them in an oven for about 5-8 min @ 200 degrees. that will loosen up the glue so you can take the lens apart. paint the reflectors, let dry and seal it back up with silicone.
make sure it is completely sealed or moisture will condense inside, making your headlamps "sweat".

im gonna follow your instructions that you posted... they are very simple. if i mess up my headlights, ill just be buying some jdm ones from drummerjun, but i really want to try and do it myself first and only have to spend 5 bucks on a can of paint.
