^ One could argue that even at the rear of the vehicle the mounting plate is recessed from the "rear" of the vehicle.

Therefore it would be within the spirit of the law, IMHO, to allow a windshield mounted plate. However if it is attached via suction cups or pushed between the window and dash it will become a dangerous object in the event of a collision.

You would think with all of the out-of-state plates around Oak Harbor they would be a little lenient but I'm sure its a money maker.

me. three times, but only got one ticket. The other two I got warnings. The trooper even ask me "This isn't your first time getting pulled over for no front plates huh? Do you enjoy getting pulled over?"

i love getting pulled over. you should have responded: "Yes, because i know that 99% of the people you meet here are bad people. But i'm the 1% that makes you day better.... its a pleasure to meet your acquaintance"

I've had my Evo about the same, bought her brand new Feb 2006; been in love ever since.

I know its a small detail, but seeing those holes bug me daily. In the bigger scheme of things, it's pretty much insignificant, but still...

haha I'm pretty sure owning an Evo increases your odds of getting pulled over dramatically anyways.

You should put a sticker there that reads "Homer approved speed holes!" with arrows pointing to them.

Very true. I was going about 75-80 mph cruising with every other car around me on N 405, the trooper picked me to pulled over out of 10 others.

I got a "Corrections Notice" 2-3 weeks ago on 405 by Bellevue from a State Patrol for no front plate. Does that go on my record? I have the front license plate zip tied to my Voltex Bumper now but I want to take it off. I was wondering if I get pulled over again, will it show up that I got pulled over for it before with the correction notice?

On a side note, I had 5 days to get it "fixed." I flagged down a cop at UW and he blocked the one lane road and signed off my notice while the 5 cars behind waited. All he asked was, do you have it on? And signed it off lol.... Didn't even bother to look.

^That is a good question. What would have happened if not fixed in 5 days? I'd say, take it off!
