It failed to go all the way into battery 3 times. It happened with full magazines like you said - after the first shot. With the mags at full capacity there was too much resistance for the recoil spring to get the slide all the way forward. I bumped up the weight of the recoil spring and switched from grease on the slide rails and barrel to motor oil which provides a noticeable improvement in drag for those parts. Should be all fixed now, and I'll make sure to test at full capacity with the mags from now on.

What about using graphite instead of motor oil?

better use that high zinc high phosphate stuff! lol

cool, I figured that wasn't intentional because you stopped and looked at the gun.

Hah I've been playing with guns lately myself. Rifles though. About a month and a half ago I picked up a savage arms model 10 FCP-K tactical .308 and just tuesday I got my razorback. Its a belt fed .22LR on an AR-15 lower reciever. 200 round belt FTW!
