Considering we've waited THIS Long for a K&N filter... I'm sure you can wait a bit longer and save a few pennies more to get a CAI.

i just like the room under the hood the CAI gave and the loud sucking sound lol! As far as a big difference in a CAI and a K&N air filter not sure on the dyno results but they cant be far off. It really is the difference in appearance and money that you are looking to spend.

Anybody use this brand of TB on an O.S.??? Or the boomba 75mm?
Not sure how the 75mm TB ones would work with an AN motor. I used the 75 mm on my Evo 9 and itworked great. Did not know it is over kill.
I know the Evo X are 64mm and work great.
does anyone know if the Ralliart are 64mm as well?
Thanks

I got my K&N Filter today and I swapped the old DIAPER filter out. Hopefully I will see some MPG increases. It was a bit of a PITA to get the new filter in but I got it. I also did a negative battery terminal unplug to start a NEW TEACH IN so the ECU can learn the new filter and its increased flow.

i have a 2013 RVR with the NEW AIR BOX

i contacted the seller on this item the black TB is 75mm and he said the blue one i emailed him about is 65mm, i am not sure what size the silver TB is though. I think 65mm would be perfect for what i have done to my O.S., but i would really prefer the OEM EVO X TB it is 65mm.

i am sure we have discussed this before, but does anyone have an EVO X or a Lancer that we can meassure the front bumper insert to see if you can use this add on EVO X style front CF bumper insert.

going to see if anyone on here can give us measurements of an EVO X front bar.

Thanks so much!

We have a '14 lancer, so not sure of the grille insert is the exact same but here ya go, I can take pics of the differences if you'd like.

Lancer: 31" x 33.5" x 6"
OS (inside chrome): 28" x 32.5" x 6"
OS (chrome removes/cut): 29" x 33.5" x 6"

The OS is also beveled on top and bottom, whereas the Lancer is only beveled on the bottom and has a flat top for the chrome surround.

Might work if your Frankenstein it though.

Awesome thanks so much. Looks like a fiber glass one would be the way to go and chop an 1" off each side...

Added the DEI heat shield today and I have to say I am not a huge Gold guy, but functionality never looked so fancy.

Had to look that stuff up.. Interesting tape. It's a tad pricey.
Does it really work as claimed - reduce heat penetration?

>> Perhaps tape up the underside/inner-surface of the items (intake cover, sparkplug cover, etc) if you don't want to get too Bling-out.
