yes i erased the question
,but that what i was asking. So going up they are similar (pikes peak and big bear),
the outlander sport might have difficulty going up? with 3 passenger in the back with some luggage... I wish it had a little bit more hp...
Is it worth it to buy this model or just wait for the next one to come out 2015?
i can trade-in my honda fit sport (m/t), dealer is willing to give me $14k, it has 50k miles ,2011 m/t.
(Honda Fit Sport brand-new is $ 17,160 w/out Navigation)
the one i am looking is SE fwd, auto, it has $2k options on it but dealer is willing to give it for $20k...also it has 0% apr 60 months...
I still owe $5k to the Honda Fit...
main purpose of outlander sport is dd, but there will be instances were i will drive it g to roads similar to pikes peak, that s where i am a little concerned...
thanks again

I'm nearly 200lb, so add 3X more > you get 800lb Plus lugguage, food, gear, gas etc.
IF you're not expecting to race up the mountain at the fastest elapse times, then you should be fine.
You can't go wrong with O.Sports. If you are the Outdoor-sy/Active type and looking for an mini SUV with great ground clearance for those occasional offroading excursions... AND wanting to get into a brand new vehicle @ ~$20K sign&drive-out with the deal of 0% for 5yr. < (provided your credit score is up to snuff.)
You're not going to find too many other manufacturers giving such offers.
Closest other makes are:
Ford Escape
Mazda CX-5
MINI Countryman & Clubman
Nissan Rogue
Nissan Juke (the smallest SUV, if you can even call it that)
Suburu Forester
However, most of these will cost you more and without the generous financing.
Well.. you never did answer the weight question of the other 3 "peoples"

It would depend on how tall you are. 200 lbs @ 6' 5" isn't the same as 4' 9"But seriously, 200 lbs is pretty average for an adult male IMO. And the max cargo capacity is 827 lbs, so it can't even hold 5 grown men.

You forget, them be Japanese "grown men"...
While I don't have a 2013 for comparison I can judge my 2014 for what it is. To me the road noise is negligible, The loudest thing really is the engine /cvt from a stop. I don't think road noise is bad at all. If I were comparing it to a luxury car it probably wouldn't stand a chance but it doesn't really bother me at all. Further, the included MMCS / Rockford Fosgate system helps it to be much less noticeable
