Like a horde of locusts!

However, I'll give them one thing... They do have MORE engine options than us!
But, the looks was altered too much from the concept version - It went from this (sweet

They really did have something going with this design. Shaved door handles, thin window seals/pillars, sharp headlights, and those monster 20" wheels. Talk about ground clearance.

That's exactly how I feel, I work in the PSE building and that's one of their fleet vehicles.... I had never seen that design with the handles shaved, that's really nice and that clearance is out of this world. But the finish product, well that's a different story, I'm just not a big fan of the grill. Now that I look back at that concept, it looks a look that BMW X6.

Ford really wanted that high "pinched" beltline profile... in fact, if you look at it from the Rear-3/4 view (and without brand logos) you be hard pressed to tell the difference between those two brands, from a glance.
Ford really could have stepped it up a big notch -on their cuv image- IF they would have stuck to the look of this concept-Escape more. Guess once the "bean-counter committee" got their crubby hands on the manufacturing... design just went down the pooper.
