On June 30, General Motors added 8.4 million vehicles to its still-growing list of recalls. Among the affected models were more than 616,000 units of the

2003-14 Cadillac CTS and
2004-06 Cadillac SRX

, which suffer from "unintended ignition key rotation". (That's the same sort of issue affecting millions of other GM models included in the "Switchgate" recall.)

If you own one of these Cadillac vehicles, GM encourages you to remove the key from any key ring or key chain and use only the key when operating the vehicle.

Also, GM also asks that owners adjust their seats and steering columns to minimize the chance that the driver's knee might accidentally bump the key while the vehicle is in operation.
