other question is before taking it to the first dealership oil change it would give me the miles and moths i neaded for the next sevice i feel they never set it up and now i just get dashes no number so its ---- for miles and -- for months i have tried serching and the one button press and hold does not do anything any hints on what i should do?

Yes, you can reset it yourself.
I did it myself after I did my 2nd oil change..
I just don't recalled the exact steps. It's with the info button that I remember.
I'll have to look it up when I get back.

Here's the steps:
1.The “- – -” display can be reset while the ignition switch is “OFF”.
2.Lightly press the multi-information meter switch until the information screen switches to service reminder display screen.
3.Press and hold the multi-information meter switch for about 2 seconds or more to display the (wrench icon) and make it flash.
4.Lightly press the multi-information meter switch while the icon is flashing to change the display from “- – -” to “CLEAR”. After this, the time until the next periodic inspection will be displayed.
5.Start the engine to verify the indicator has been reset.
