This thread is for the fullsize Outlander MPG findings.
Post on Big O drivers.....

My 16 Outlander, 2.4L, 2 weeks old, at 28* temp, at 65mph was recording 35.7 mpg after resetting the gage. (flat stretch of HyWy) currently running premium fuel-91 oct. stock wheels N tires. 225/55R18s, 35psi. In NORMAL setting on the 4x4, NO ECO mode and cruise on.

Now that's pretty impressive.
Apparently, you don't need any break-in period to get this..

(Wonder if it'll get even better after you hit 1,700 miles.)

report back with an actual calculated mpg on a tank. those displays tend to be "optimistic".

That's what I'm curious to know... tonights run was specific and planned with the camera ready. At 58 mph, 1800 rpm, reset the computer, and after 3 miles in cruise, gage was reading 40.1 mpg. (4x4 in Normal & ECO mode on)

This is the first tank I put in that I'm commuting to work with, (premium fuel only) I'll be sure to get a calculated reading after I've had to refill. This should give me a good overall in stock form.
Already ordered are the Pulley and timing controller, so I'm hoping to see what difference it makes in these readings. And of course my butt dyno. Probably won't be for a couple of weeks till I get time to work on it, but I'll have a good base line to compare the stock trim version too.
